Learning Outcomes

- Execute representative sampling with full chain-of-custody integrity.
- Perform potency profiling (cannabinoids, terpenes) using HPLC, GC-MS.
- Test contaminants: pesticides, heavy metals, residual solvents, microbial pathogens.
- Implement lab QA/QC systems: SOPs, calibration, validation, documentation.
- Interpret and report results (CoA) per CLA requirements and audit expectations.

- Week 2: Sampling, chain-of-custody, and good lab practice.
- Week 3: Potency analysis — cannabinoids & terpenes.
- Week 4: Contaminants I — pesticides & heavy metals.
- Week 5: Contaminants II — microbes & residual solvents.
- Week 6: Validation, calibration, instrument maintenance.
- Week 7: Quality systems & documentation — SOPs, audits, CAPA.
- Week 8: Reporting, CoAs, and compliance audits.
