Level 2 – License-Specific Training

Training for License Eligibility

Each Level 2 program matches one of the official NCRC/CLA license categories.

After completing Level 1 – Core Licensing Readiness, every applicant must attend a specialized Level 2 training for their chosen license category. These programs provide the technical, regulatory, and operational knowledge required to operate legally and responsibly in Dominica’s cannabis industry.

Standards for medicinal cannabis cultivation, canopy tiers, and GACP compliance.

Covers post-harvest handling, extraction technologies, formulation, and GMP requirements.

Training on the production of edibles, beverages, topicals, and other infused products.

Specialized training for cannabis quality control, ISO standards, R&D protocols, and testing.

Covers dispensary operations, POS compliance, safety standards, and patient/customer protection.

  • Herbalist Track: Training for traditional and community herbal practitioners.

  • Medical Track: Training for physicians, pharmacists, and medical professionals.

Secure distribution, chain of custody, risk management, and compliance in transport.

Protocols for academic, scientific, and applied cannabis research and product development.

Requirements, documentation, and compliance for importing cannabis-related materials.

Guidelines for international trade, cross-border documentation, and regulatory compliance.

Safe, legal, and environmentally responsible destruction and disposal of cannabis waste.

Covers compliance, safety, and responsibilities for individuals working across the sector.

Varies by license type (Level 1 fee credited toward Level 2 tuition)

Outcome:

Certificate of Competence, required to obtain the corresponding license
